Terms and Conditions – Survey Gear

1. The Simple Version

Buy from us → We ship to you (7-10 days) → You get gear → If it breaks, we replace it (1 year warranty) → If you don’t like it, send it back (7 days cool down period). That’s the gist. Details below.

2. Products & Pricing

All products are GNSS equipment and accessories. Prices shown in South African Rand (ZAR) include VAT and delivery anywhere in South Africa. What you see is what you pay – no hidden costs at check out, no surprise fees, no “just kidding you need to buy this extra thing.”

Product specs may change (manufacturer updates), but your gear still works. We reserve right to discontinue products, but we’ll still support what you bought.

3. Orders & Payment

You order → You pay → We confirm (within 24 hours) → We ship. Payment methods: PayFast (credit card/instant EFT) or EFT (Capitec – details at checkout).

Invoice customization: At checkout, you can type exactly what you want on your invoice – name, company, whatever. It’s your invoice, you name it.

We reserve right to refuse orders (fraud, pricing errors, we’re human we make mistakes).

4. Delivery: 7-10 Working Days, Door-to-Door

Timeline: 7-10 working days from payment to your door, anywhere in South Africa. We don’t keep stock – we order when you pay, then we ship to you.

Tracking emails: We’ll update you through the journey: “Packed” → “On its way” → “At customs” → “Through customs” → “On the courier” → “Delivered!”

Risk passes to you on delivery. We’re not liable for courier delays (they’re independent). Signature required on delivery.

5. Warranty: 1 Year, No Questions Asked

1-year warranty on all equipment. If it breaks (our fault), we replace it. No questions asked. If you break it (your fault – drove over it, dropped from cliff), we’ll still help as much as we can.

6. Returns: 7 Days, No Questions Asked

7 days from delivery – if you don’t like it or it doesn’t do what we said, send it back. Full refund. No questions asked. Equipment must be in original condition with all accessories.

7. Software: Free Updates for Life

The software on your controller? Updates are free. Forever. No subscriptions, no premium upsells, no “pay to unlock GPS” nonsense. You bought it, you own it, you get the updates.

All receivers track all availible constellations. All included. No activation fees. And firmware updates for your receiver is also free, forever.

8. Liability

We’re liable for direct losses (replacement/repair). Not liable for consequential losses (project delays, data loss, lost profits, your boss yelling at you). Maximum liability = purchase price.

9. Force Majeure (Fancy Legal Term for “Stuff Happens”)

Not liable for delays beyond our control: disasters, strikes, government actions, load shedding (it’s SA, we all know), courier issues.

10. POPIA (Your Data is Safe)

We comply with Protection of Personal Information Act. Your data used only for order processing, not sold. See Privacy Policy for details.

11. Governing Law

South African law governs these terms. Disputes go to Durban courts.
